Artistic projects for the creation and realization of 2 murals
The CCI-NC is launching a call for artistic projects for the creation and realization of 2 murals representing wings in the airports of Nouméa-La Tontouta and Nouméa-Magenta.
In addition to the decoration, these wall creations will primarily serve as a photocall, that is to say an emblematic and playful place in front of which the public can take a picture and share the content on social networks. The creations will have to be different for each of the airports in order to reflect their respective identity.
Summary of expected services
1. Noumea-La Tontouta Airport
Noumea-La Tontouta Airport is the first place that visitors see when arriving on the territory and the last before leaving New Caledonia. The main targets of this photocall are travelers, whether tourists or locals, as well as their companions since the dedicated place within the airport is located in a public area.
Before the Covid crisis, the airport welcomed nearly 566,000 passengers per year.
The work must:
- Represent wings,
- Be representative of New Caledonia in the choice that will be made in particular of the colors, the graphics and all the elements that will make up these wings,
- Be in harmony with the architecture and the modern and refined identity of the airport,
- Respect the theme of travel and hospitality.
2. Noumea Magenta Airport
Noumea-Magenta Airport is the central hub that connects the three Provinces. It connects the islands to Grande Terre and serves destinations in the interior. The targets of this photocall are only travelers, whether tourists or locals, because the dedicated area is located in the boarding lounge.
Before the Covid crisis, the airport welcomed nearly 465,000 passengers per year.
The work must:
- Represent wings,
- Be representative of New Caledonia, and more particularly of its islands, in the choice that will be made in particular of the colors, the graphics and all the elements that will make up these wings,
- Be in harmony with the identity of the airport and the destinations it serves,
- Respect the theme of travel and hospitality: invite to travel and be a foretaste of what awaits travelers on arrival.
