Airport Health Accreditation - AHA
The airport achieves the label of the International Airport Health Accreditation Program
Following an audit of the sanitary measures implemented in all processes and areas of Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport, the platform managed by CCI-NC has obtained certification from the Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) program of the Airports Council International (ACI).
A guarantee of health safety
The airport health accreditation program was launched by ACI in July 2020 to assess airports' compliance with international health recommendations issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and ACI in the context of the global COVID-19 health crisis.
The efforts and protocols implemented by Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport to ensure the safety of its passengers, staff, and service providers have been validated by this task force. The New Caledonian international airport platform joins around 400 airports worldwide certified in compliance with industry best practices in terms of health and safety.
An excellence certification in preparation for the resumption of air traffic
The attainment of this label confirms that Nouméa-La Tontouta Airport is conducting its operations optimally and ensures a robust health protocol for the airport experience of its users in anticipation of the resumption of air traffic.
*The label, valid for one year, was obtained in May 2021. As it approaches expiration, the airport teams are working on its renewal.
